To foster innovation and to strengthen the entrepreneurship in Goa startup ecosystem, The Goa Institute of Management took the initiative of setting up an “Atal Incubation centre” under Niti Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission.
Our aim is to aid startups, stimulate their growth and facilitate their success through a holistic support system for entrepreneurs by providing them opportunities to access mentors, industry experts, investment support and networking support with growing startup ecosystems.
It’s a lesser-known fact that Goa was among the first four states in India to implement a Start-up Policy. The state is becoming a preferred destination in the start-up space as it is in tourism, evidenced by a revamped start-up policy announced in 2017. Goa is encouraging innovation and technology, not to mention an enviable work-life balance as well as a progressive government that is committed to supporting start-ups and help them succeed and with this we aim to become a preferred go to incubation centre for start-ups exploring to set up in Goa and start-ups looking for growth support as well.
"Our mission is to build a holistic support system for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups which will help them accelerate and reach the next orbit on their entrepreneurial journey"
"Our vision is to become a preferred go-to incubation centre for startups exploring to set up in Goa and startups looking for growth support, we are aiming to develop a high level of expertise in some niche domains and emerge as a thought leader in the startup ecosystem"
