STEP supports & mentors early stage women led social impact projects.

The incubation program rests on five pillars; community, mentorship, capacity building, role modeling & networking opportunities. The applications are open to women led social startups where at least one of the co-founders identifies herself as a woman. The applicant should be minimum 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit. The startup should be incorporated in India. Through her startup, the entrepreneur should be solving a social problem. The program is entrepreneur centric, sector agnostic and model inclusive (for profit, non-profit and hybrid). The journey of a Shaktipreneur is intense and the involvement is life long.
