Nauka Foundation is on the mission to create a more cleaner, greener and better planet. To achieve this, we believe in growing dense forests in those areas that are devoid of them. Along with our greening efforts, we strive to uplift and assist the rural communities. We want to develop a green and a bio-diverse, sustainable world for the future generations. We intend to create a world where everyone is enthusiastic about planting trees, which would create a repository for a rich ecological bio diverse planet.
We are dealing with many issues related to environment and climate change. Some of these issues are:
• Deforestation
• Reduced ground water level management
• Air pollution
• Low awareness in people about climate change
• Poverty

To fight above problems we follow a set of actions to minimize the effect of them as much as possible. These actions are:

• We grow mini-forests around the metro cities and small villages and these are called oxygen cylinders for these areas to create fresh air to breathe. A mini-forest covers minimum four thousand trees, one water body or pond for animals, proper drip irrigation system, and a mini nursery to contain the seedlings. We create an environment through trees and water that rekindle the life at that area and maintain a life support system for generations.

• Ground water level is decreasing alarmingly because of many human made reasons; we have to take reformative actions as soon as possible to save our lives and let our future generations to live without any war-like situation. To tackle this problem, we make water bodies, ponds, and renovating the old wells to enhance the level of ground water.
• We plant trees with children and students and make them aware about our mother nature.
• We help farmers grow fruit bearing trees on their personal land and train them how to maintain the farms until they get fruits from them. It helps them enhance their income and empower them to sustain in the market.

We have grown a mini forest with a water body on 15 acres of land at Arawali Mountain range (It is one of the oldest and degraded mountain ranges in the world). This forest has four thousand trees planted by our enthusiastic team. This is one of the largest projects carried out in this area with the help of nearby community. We helped the community by providing them with jobs while the work was being done there, and made them aware about the need of trees in our society. Animals residing on that hill come to quench their thirst from the water body developed by us. In future the fruits and wood of these trees would be utilized by the local government body for the welfare of the nearby community that has more than five thousand people.
